But when we, the citizens, were running away of our responsibilities it became an issue. I saw many people near any Ganga Ghat throw the garbage as if they have nothing to do with the dignity of maa Gange. The condition of ganga ji can only be improved by checking drainage of industrial as well as sewer wastage in to it. There are many small water bodies which are responsible for it. Moreover many peoples do not coperate into govt. programmes because they do have faith in govt. just because of difficulties faced by them due to corrupt administrators. The parties also get fund from industrialist and do take action against them. This is a matter of great concern. Will this govt. dare to check this?

Ganga Authority needs to recruit a few hundred people who can be given uniforms and trained and posted permanently to educate people about disposal of ashes, flowers and other materials at the important cities on its route. If necessary some fines can also be imposed strictly. Results would be seen in a short time of three months only.

To clean GANGA JI or our INDIA it's necessary to print information of proper disposal on all the product what we use in our daily life and what tend to go in garbage. Because i think most of the problem related to dirty INDIA is related to not to disposed off things properly.You can take the example of E-Garbage which is more dangerous for our health through out in open due to lake off knowledge of proper disposal of E-Garbage.

Sir, u should made a arrangement for a pond via cana(which should be at some distance from mouth of river)l where people can put ashes and perform their rituals and that water should be diverted to treatment plant thus slowly it gets purified by itself...
