Sir congratulations. There are many similar Indian forms like yoga and art forms which require recognition so that it does not perish. Most shocking fact is that our Indian forms are more known in other countries than by us. A country and its citizens prosper only if they know their roots and cherish their culture. More initiatives should be taken to promote these, especially the lesser known local art and cultural forms.

This is a good initiative by the govt of India. I would request the govt also to take similar steps to promote many arts that were in Olden India but now they are rarely seen. Art like Silambattam, Kalari can be promoted so that they are not forgotten.

Sir, After the huge success of the very first International Yoga Day, Yoga has been introduced as a mandatory subject in all government run schools which is indeed a very good step.
But I would like to suggest that Yoga be introduced under all private schools also under the school curriculum of CBSE and ICSE atleast upto class 10th and if possible even upto class 12th.
