Workshops on yoga,pranayam and mediatation should be done with help of Patanjali yoga,Art of living foundation, Chinmaya mission, Sivananda Ashram, Prajapita brahma kumaris, Satyananda Yoga, Ramakrushna mission and all other concerned.This Day should focus on Importance of Yoga in our daily life.

All parks and school grounds should be utilized for conducting mass yogathon either in form of suryanamaskar or a package of premium asanas in all parts of country.
For this preparation should be made at least 15 days before.Being a working day this year, this activity should be limited to morning hours.
And in schools debate or speech competition should be made with instant distribution of prizes may be with help of corporate houses or different yoga institutions.

In hospitals, old age homes yoga can be arranged with the help of school children who are into yoga. This can be done with the help of AYUSH Distt administration and NGOs.
A large event at Nalanda or Other centre can be arranged which will be broadcasted live.
Mann ki bat on yoga will certainly touch the people.:)

Diaspora can engage the local groups and organisation to hold yoga sessions at various platforms. At embassies a display of yogic literature can be organised.
3) In each state..educational institutions can celebrate yoga day by holding competitions. Various icons in Yoga can be felicitated.
Organisations and initiatives like Raahgiri and street plays can be utilised to spread awareness about yoga. Prabhat feri kind of system which can be led by our government representatives.

1) At UN Forum.. a discussion on how to inculcate yoga in different countries can be done. A conference for promoting yoga, meditation, values can also be held. This must focus on tackling terrorism which is the global problem. Alongwith conference, showcasing of various yoga form in the form of a celebration can be organised. This can be real or virtual.
2) At the world stage our diaspora and embassies in various countries can be engaged. Embassies can take the attire and theme of Yog.
