In December 2014 the United Nations declared 21st June as ‘International Day of Yoga’ after 177 nations across all continents of the world co-sponsored a resolution seeking the same.

When the resolution was adopted, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed immense joy on this and said that Yoga has the power to bring the entire humankind together. It may be recalled that the Prime Minister had mooted such an idea during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2014.

You are requested to provide inputs on the following aspects relating to the marking of the first ever ‘International Day of Yoga’.

(1) How can the ‘International Day of Yoga’ be celebrated at the UN forum?

(2) Suggest creative ways in which the ‘International Day of Yoga’ can be celebrated at the world stage.

(3) What are ways in which we can mark the ‘International Day of Yoga’ across the length and breadth of India?

Best inputs and suggestions would be sent to the Prime Minister himself and would also be utilized.

YOGA IS SEARCH OF SELF.Considering yoga is a good measure towards wellness of human society .Depression & unhealthy eating habits has hampered Indian youth a lot .So,for wellness of Indians, govt.should launch movements to promote yoga in Indian society. Also in schools, govt.should make yoga sessions compulsory for all the students of 4th to 12th class for at least 30 minutes in the morning daily. It will not only make youth physically & mentally fit but also good human race & resource.

Yoga is our ancient practice for good mind-body health .As our beloved prime minister made it notice to world community as international Yoga day ,so now make it small introduction as books ,supplementary subjects from 6th classes on-wards where sports teacher will make practice twice a week like .It is strongly required as rural children does not able to know due to not availability in their books.Only city, town children are knowing as their parents knows this. THANK YOU.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life. Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.
