In December 2014 the United Nations declared 21st June as ‘International Day of Yoga’ after 177 nations across all continents of the world co-sponsored a resolution seeking the same.

When the resolution was adopted, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed immense joy on this and said that Yoga has the power to bring the entire humankind together. It may be recalled that the Prime Minister had mooted such an idea during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2014.

You are requested to provide inputs on the following aspects relating to the marking of the first ever ‘International Day of Yoga’.

(1) How can the ‘International Day of Yoga’ be celebrated at the UN forum?

(2) Suggest creative ways in which the ‘International Day of Yoga’ can be celebrated at the world stage.

(3) What are ways in which we can mark the ‘International Day of Yoga’ across the length and breadth of India?

Best inputs and suggestions would be sent to the Prime Minister himself and would also be utilized.

Mathematical Logic Intl Yoga Day = 21 June = 21/06 = 2+1+6 = 9. Nine is the Universal number that preserves...add any digit to 9 and the result is always the number added to nine. Eg. 9 + 2 = 11 = 1+1 = 2 9 + 3 = 12 = 1+2 = 3 9 + 4 = 13 = 1+3 = 4 Yoga is like 9... re-discover yourself.

Change the spelling to "International Yog Day". Remove "a" from Yoga. If we don't pronounce words of our origin correctly, how can we expect from the world to do it? It looks a small issue, but don't forget by declaring "Yoga Day" we are going to create a history. This is something which is going to remain documented for centuries to come. Whatsoever years after today, no one should be confused about the origin of this word.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life.
