India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Sir , do not allow outside state registered vehicles inside any big metro limits. Most of the vehicles are not maintained properly. Logistics within city should be handled by that particular state alone.

All buildings should not be painted. Instead encourage moss wall. Whosoever uses moss on outside wall should be given some kind of subsidy in municipal taxes. All government buildings should first have moss wall. Cities should not be seen as concrete jungle anymore. Green walls everywhere. This project can be named as "Green Breathing Walls". Please implement this sir. Infact even city roads should be moss road only.

Dear sir People who are staying in the villages are the real protector of the environmental they are acceptable the life of environmental friendly living. they are celebrating all festival by keeping in mind the role of surrounding environment. Real threat for the environmental im balance is from the real estate people and the Govt officer who are converting Agricultural land into Non Agricultural land and Forrest land into orchid land by the greed of money making Modi Govt should take strict action on such corrupt people. Poor people are always in favour of sustainable development. for eg when a poor from village goes to Forest to collect wood fuel for cooking food they are collecting only dry woods not even looking towards green trees because they know that they have to preserve the forest for future generations as their ancestral did. My request to modiji to make a strict law to protect environment for LiFE

There should be competition and recognition at central level for each area corporator and mayor who have done exceptionally good to improvise the locality May be controlled environment pollution by newest methods implementation or by landscaping or by facilitating to local civic bodies by easing the facilities to reach public

All companies should have workstations in all 8 directions of the city instead of having single office in one location. Employees should access this work station through cycle rickshaw alone. About cycle rickshaw i have already mentioned in my previous comment

All metro cities should mandatorily use cycle rickshaw instead of fuel based transportation. Every two km distance should have a demarcation for cycle rikshaw stand. cycle rickshaw should be easily booked through ola/Uber apps. Less than 2 km distance cab booking should be discarded and auto rickshaw insisted. The rikshaw similar to one in Delhi chandini chowk area can be used. A peddle can be fitted for the one sitting behind to exercise and assist the main peddler. This will ensure exercise while moving. Great benefit for youngsters and exercise freaks.

Cleaning polluted water bodies is a best way for this mission. For eg in Chennai 3 rivers were flowing once. But at present 1 had dried and other 2 had become sewage. Cleaning water bodies like these all over the country will ensure a good supply of water for citizens. Apart from this introduction of water metro, boating etc activities create employment opportunities. Govt must take strict action regarding this to save our motherland and availability of resources for future generations.

90% DRINKING WATER is SOLD by MINERAL WATER COMPANIES - LARGEST MAFIA ON EARTH... SHUT THEM ALL and start supplying pure water in Delhi (full Delhi area - not just Lutyens Zone or NDMC Area). You get vote from SLUM AREAS but you give boring water in DDA FLATS... You know it very well what I am talking about... Naatak band karo aur asli kaam karo.... By the way PRIVATE COMPANIES ko DRINKING WATER FOKAT ME KAHAAN SE MILTA HAI???? Itna paani kahan se aata hai??? Sarkar ke paas pani nahi hai.... During floods, LPG cylinders will be floating in water. Loss of control over LPG cylinder during Flood can cause a series of disasters. So, it would be best to have Gas Pipeline System for each and every independent house and apartments.
