India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

As I am a son of mother India. It's my duty to give suggestions to protect my mother 1. Every citizen of India should plant atleast one tree in his/her birthday and take care of it. 2. During "Van Mahostab" all social organization should come forward and plant trees 3. plastic should be banned 4. clean ness drive should be implemented from village lavel to town level. especially during rainy season 5. More focusing on renewable energy like solar energy 6. More use of vermicompost in farming rather than chemical fertilizers 7. awareness to people how to harvest rain water

we should establish one brand name for environmentally sustainable & 100 percent recyclable clothes & promote it as a responsible citizen clothwears. Maha khadi of Govt of India can play better role in this type of clothwear adoption

Good life is like an ecosystem that means in ecosystem all are connected to each other directly or indirectly. In the same way life and environment are also linked with each other both directly and indirectly. If we take care of environment then environment also take care of us , we should take the following steps for a healthy environment- 1) We do not cut trees at very large level for our own needs. 2)We should use eco-friendly automobiles which do not take out carbon monoxide at large level.

Environmental life is a best option for maintain earth eco system. 1 Don't use plastic is a best concept to use in our daily life. 2 one man one plant idea is a way to participate every one for maintain eco system. 3 solar energy has to be used in daily life needs of human being. 4 Green product has to be used in daily life for maintain nature needs. 5 Green technology should be promoted at large scale for control over pollution. 6 use public transport in daily life .it has to be control over pollution. 7 Awareness campaign has been launched for protect our environmental needs.

यदि पर्यावरण शुध्द और अच्छा करना है तो सबसे पहले वृक्षारोपण बढ़ाना होगा और वृक्षारोपण यदि नदियों के किनारे किया जाए तो अति उत्तम होगा जिससे उन्हे पानी भी मिलता रहेगा और नदियों के जल का वाषपीकरण भी कम से कम होगा और नदियों का कटान भी रुकेगा .. नदियों में गिर रहे सभी नालों को बंद करना पड़ेगा...क्रूड ऑयल की जगह सोलर पावर पर निर्भरता बढ़ानी होगी...नदी साफ, हवा साफ, शोरगुल कम हो जाएगा तो अपने आप पर्यावरण शुद्ध हो जाएगा.. जै हिन्द 🇮🇳

In olden days houses were built using natural resources and also gave importance to have adequate air flow and light inside the house. So there less disease was there. These days many apartments have been built without adequate space for free flow of air and light. Many suffer due to dust allergy and other health issues as they are forced to remain in closed environment for long hours. Real estate builders should give importance to adequate air and light source. In the terrace while putting weathering course using mud tiles using natural binding items will give good protection from heat. In the name of modernization we are slowly losing the best methods in house construction. Excess usage of PVC pipes and synthetic water tanks will cause health problems and increase maintenance cost. Instead of synthetic water tanks normal brick tank will be safer. Instead of using foam beds and pillows cotton beds and pillows is good for the body and will give more comfort while sleeping.

Government can give some certificate or an Award for those who involve in planting more saplings or involve in environment cleaning activities. This will encourage many people and organisations to come forward and conduct more activities. School College students along with their teachers should engage themselves in some environmental activities by planting saplings, making seed balls or do gardening in any park or in any vacant land in any schools or in government buildings. The organisers should give them a certificate and some refreshments as a token of appreciation of their work. Apartments can engage the kids in their locality and make them to involve to conduct some awareness events among the local residents on plastic pollution, air pollution and saving rain water etc. A separate website containing details of all environmental related data and details of various experts should be there..So that any one contact them and get their valuable advice free of cost and implement them.
