India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

Hospitals in this country are till date very much unregulated for same service for which one hospital charge rupees 100 other will charge 1000 rupees so govt must put limits on prices of hospital facilities such as opd service charge , tests, medicines, room charges, procedures charges beyond which if anyone charges must be punished and for this regular checkup audits along with random patient feedbacks must be carried out

Chemists often sold medicines on much higher price than it made earns lots of profits but from customer point of view its purely unethical thus regulations must be put on medicines company to disclose manufacturing cost of medicines transport cost and strict limit on profit which cannot be more than 50 percent of manufacturing cost this will make medicines under affordability besides this it must be made public why to medicines of same salt are selling on two different cost with justification and for this govt must audit their claims on regular basis if found false they must be severely punished

in todays time vehicle parking on road is big concern people generally parks vehicle here and there even if paid parking facility is available for saving money so govt should think to provide free parking with security to all at major shopping centre govt offices picnic spots sports complex schools colleges hospitals etc these facilities must be on multilevel system as single level system can provide limited parking space whereas multilevel parking system can provide space double or triple as comparison to single level system money for this can be collected from shopkeepers, vendors which gets benefits of extra customers due to neighboring parking facility or can be made mandatory to provide parking facility free of cost to all shop keeper organisations shopping complexes cinema halls schools colleges etc for govt organisations peoples visit offices for govt instructed work so its govt duty to provide parking beside this few places withing every 1 1km must be made reserved for this
