India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

It is not a disturbing co-incidence that stirs our amazements on this holy occasion to commemorate one of the most important and golden Landmark opportunity of INDIAN environmental and sustainable Future. Every starting point is miracles of GOD, and a numeric value zero always have a great value. Our life is totally dependable on the importance of living in harmony with nature. Nature never cheats to any one, for the life style of the people and for the standard of living peoples are pin pointed. Actually the ideas and suggestions that comes to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle, can only be updated if we take responsibilities in a proper and best way. We should be very much familiar with this that as we live in our houses and homes the percentage of electricity consumption should be watched up on a daily basis that how much we can reduce of using and saving electricity so that the saving of energy increases in the field of power for the environmental growth. cont--

Dear Sir, Thanks for regenerating our old principles in this platform. The best example is Shimad Ramayana and Shri Mahabharata. Hope nothing much to explain in this forum. Throughout the world, we can inculcate best examples drawn from these and arrange to implement with core values will cover all the 7 R's as against existing systems and practices. We all know the best, we have much laziness in following those and lest care on the preaching's from the known personnel. We need to develop much of practical implementation from those epics to correct our lifestyle and come to straighten our way of life to end with peace. Every where it is give and take policy, giver should not feel that he or she is great while giving, as well taker should not feel of begging or some thing. Need matters, This is universal policy framed long ago. Lord Rama keeps telling every one that when ever there is a need then only the other fellow thinks of his utility.

The market of bottled drinking water as well as aerated drinks has reached 6 billion dollars. The highest sales were in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Pondicherry, NCR. The market is dominated by international players like Coca cola, PepsiCo, Nestle and the industry is highly unregulated. This poses potential threats to India's water security and a basic commodity like drinking water could threaten India's sovereignty in the years to come. Aerated drinks add to the problem as the sugar content and other chemicals mixed is not kept under checks. A densely populated country like India (which has also become the diabetic capital of the world) should be promoting fresh fruit juices, sharbats and nimbu paani (with no additives and limited sugars) instead of these aerated drinks. Moreover clean drinking water should be made accessible to all and everywhere instead of a heavy dependence on packaged water which also creates a spill of plastics and pollutes the environment.

on roads specially in big cities there are shortage of toilets and where ever it available very dirty unhygienic which need to be strengthen by building toilets on every 500m with facility of regular cleaning if possible otherwise this can be done by giving some tax relief or subsidy or grants to private restaurants hotels offices markets petrol pumps vehicle repairing centers hospitals etc for providing basic toilet facility to public without any charge by this govt can ensure clean toilets in regular intervals without burden of maintenance
