India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

these ideas for building life so future 1. study 2 medical facility 3 agriculture 4 women protection 5 care of environment 1 study we have to teach every student that who are not able to study or they not sufficient money, we have to give the facilities for every village and will the schools and colleges for free it may use for the every student to study and we have to tell to students about agriculture and its important and about environment 2 medical facilities now a days some of the village peoples are town peoples not getting best medical facilities so for them we have to give the best facilities and build hospitals for them and give best facility to all village town and city peoples 3 agriculture agriculture was very important for the human life but nowadays no one showing interest in that so we have to guide everyone what was the importance of agriculture and we have to provide the land who for agriculture

Major pollution in cities comes from unauthorized construction work going on due to which dust particles remain suspended in air and environment so system must be devised in such a way to regulate construction activities in city by fixing area wise building approval offices and checkers who will look after all un authorized activities in their areas besides this on roads major activities that going on all the time is laying cables or pipelines eg if there are four companies providing services that means four time damage to roads that can be avoided by dividing areas in to zones in which single zone can be assigned to single company if other wants to provide services in this area they can use networks lay by first company this will save money and time will also avoid dust pollution caused on road due to digging work or alternatively govt agency can construct tunnel through which all future cables will go

Reuse the paver blocks. Many municipal corporations remove the old paver blocks and put new paver blocks there. Those old paver blocks can be transferred to the small or D grade municipal corporations for building footpaths or other development works. Big municipal corporations should not throw the old materials like paver blocks.

Respected Sir, A suggested vision of the "MILITARY DEVELOPMENT UNITS" for every major city. It would help students from science background to get an opportunity to innovate and research for the defence forces and contribute to the society and get them an opportunity for a permanent job much like a mini DRDO. Benefits: 1. Provide employment opportunities. 2. Engage young minds in sustainable development for the society and defence forces. 3. Opportunity for foreign and domestic investors to invest and be part of nurturing young researchers forum. Thank you for making India great again!

People should be encouraged to use public transport such as DTC or metro or roadways by issuing single ticket within rupees 100 for whole day and services can be made faster by providing accessibility in every 15 minutes by this people will never mind to use govt transports system under bracket of their affordability and system must be devised in such a way that at least 80 percent of city will be under public transport range. Biggest concern is un suitability of bus to enter in congested areas for this small buses will needed in the line of mini bus

Electric Lighting System on roads must be devised in such a way that between any two electric pole there must be one solar based pole of electricity so that electricity demand can be reduced thus pollution can be reduced and saving of money with efficient lighting system can be install which works even if light grids fail

Make it mandatory for every govt building to install rain water harvesting system in their premises and routine audit must be conducted to judge usability on the basis of report extra grants certificates mementos can be given on later part it can be extended to private building having coverage area more than 500 sq yard
