Scientists have developed what they call living concrete by using sand, gel and bacteria.
Researchers said this building material has structural load-bearing function, is capable of self-healing and is more environmentally friendly than concrete – which is the second most-consumed material on Earth after water.
The team from the University of Colorado Boulder believe their work paves the way for future building structures that could “heal their own cracks, suck up dangerous toxins from the air or even glow on command”.

The UN predicts there will be two billion more people in the world by 2050, creating a demand for 70 per cent more food. By that time, 80 per cent of us will be living in cities, and most food we eat in urban areas is brought in. So farms moored on the sea or inland lakes close to cities would certainly reduce food miles.
But how would they work? A design by architect Javier Ponce of Forward Thinking Architecture shows a 24m-tall, three-tiered structure with solar panels on top to provide energy. The middle tier grows a variety of veg over an area of 51,000m2, using not soil but nutrients in liquid. These nutrients and plant matter would drop into the bottom layer to feed fish, which are farmed in an enclosed space.
A single Smart Floating Farm measuring 350 x 200m would produce an estimated 8.1 tonnes of vegetables and 1.7 tonnes of fish a year.

Fast-charging of electric vehicles is seen as key to their take-up, so motorists can stop at a service station and fully charge their car in the time it takes to get a coffee and use the toilet – taking no longer than a conventional break.
Lithium batteries could heat to 60°C for just 10 minutes and then rapidly cool again to ambient temperatures. Self-heating battery design is using a thin nickel foil which creates an electrical circuit that heats in less than 30 seconds to warm the inside of the battery. The rapid cooling that would be needed after the battery is charged would be done using the cooling system designed into the car.

घर में सबसे ज्यादा बिजली, पानी, LPG Gas की बर्बादी हो रही है।
खेती मैं पानी, बिजली और डीजल की बहुत ज्यादा खपत हो रही है।
सरकारों ने 75 साल से हवा में तीर चलाये है।
अभी तक कोई ठोस कार्ययोजना नहीं बनाई।
मैंने आइडियाज बनाये है पानी, बिजली, LPG Gas, डीजल की बर्बादी रोकने के लिये।
इससे घर खर्च में भी कमी आयेगी।
पानी बिजली 24 घंटे मिलेगा।
मुझे good team चाहिये।

क्योंकि दोनों तरफ़ के job में equal security और growth opportunity है
पर साला अपने देश में बाबू और किरानी के mood पर काम होता है, वो करोड़ों घूस काम लें पर होता कुछ नहीं और जनता को उन्ही भ्रष्ट के सामने झुकना पड़ता है

Cont'd---The shredded sachets along with bonding material could be thermo-formed or with cement mix to make molded items like flower pots,open water channels in farms. Making into thick pipes for drains. It's only a concept needs support from scientific community. Waste plastics are already being used for highway making as per minister.
Recycling happens only when useful items are created and makes business sense. The collection of scrap happens only when value for waste is high or labour cost is recovered.

अभी तक देश में जितने भी highway बनाए गए हैं वह हाईवे अधिकृत पेड़ों को काटकर बनाए गए हैं और उसके बाद जो हाईवे के किनारे पेड़ लगे हैं अभी भी कहीं दिखाई नहीं देते जिससे पर्यावरण दिवस का सभी अधिकतर फोटो लगा लगा कर ग्रुप में भेज देते हैं कि आज पर्यावरण को बचाने के लिए पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया है अभी तक अभी तक जितने भी पेड़ों की कटाने हुई है उनसे अधिक 10 गुना पेड़ लगाए जाना उचित है

R3- Reuse of sachets is the need in every village to cities. Sachets specially ghutka, shampoo, liquor,tooth paste,biscuit wrappers,are most seen items across the country side.Disposal is a major headache to municipality. The scrap value is low but convenient for customers to get their items in small quantities. What comes to my mind is charge a small disposal fee on sachet packages .Have collection centers at different locations at village to cities at say 50 paise for ten sachets or slightly more. Rag pickers may collect this is only an suggestion. These collected sachets should be shredded to tiny pieces. This could be used for burning in small quantities along with bio-waste like paddy husk or similar materials if permitted by environment department. Alternatively could be used in small quantities as for road bottom fill layer along with cement. The shredded sachets along with bonding material could be thermo-formed or with cement mix to make molded items like flower pots cont'd--
