Awareness about environment and it's effect , civilisational values can not be expected from all ordinary people. This can be injected only through mass awareness programme.

Sir, Geotextile tubes are available in China for water purification. Please consider using Coir products for such products in India too. This can easily be used in Urban slums areas. This can be packed with appropriate chemicals for a better purification. The chemicals can be recharged as and when necessary. Once it's life is expired, it must be a soil conditioner and hence eco friendly.

Everyone can contribute their share by
a) Reducing wastage of water and electricity
b) Disposing e-waste into appropriate e-waste collection centres.
c) Reuse old clothes for example, by making hand kerchiefs Or scarfs out of veils, which would make some savings or donate clothes in good condition to the poor at proper donation centres.
d) Make use of renewable natural resources, like solar panels.
