You wrote "Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment"
I do not agree.
Government wrong working spoiled the climate and environment of country.
What individual can do.?
When Government wrong working destroying climate of country.
From last 75 years Government working against indian
Values.
Government only likes Western country's ideas, value and system.
Government is not ready to listen critics. New ideas developers and Change Makers.
Ego is big problem in government.
Mygov.in only dislike all new ideas.

Environmental awareness in our country is very low. There is a great need to raise awareness on the environment from young children to adults because of the environment that the government is currently pursuing. This not only pollutes the environment around us, but also the seawater. In addition to advertising in television newspapers, texting messages can also help raise environmental awareness.Specializing in environmental awareness not only in school education, but also in college and universities.

Yes, I think honesty is the main capital of human beings, Because there is a lot of public tolerance hidden in this name. So I think the public must be happy to have this name.

We are blessed with Sun light almost on all days through out the year and all over the country. Every house should have a Solar Panel to light their home. We are slowly switching over to electrical vehicles, which would reduce our burden on foreign exchange, which we use for buying oil. We should promote cycle driving through out the country as in The Netherlands with separate lane and give incentive to all those who cycle to their office and back home. The promotion of public transport system would go a long way in reducing our carbon prints. The pooling of cars or company buses would go a long way in promoting a clean atmosphere.

Dear Sir/Madam
Before implementing any program or policy where there is a need of public participation, firstly we should spend enough time in creating awareness this may take up resources, but is worth spending on. Any County example Japan, citizens are sensitive towards the impact of a coke can thrown at pavement rather than a bin.
Sustainability Is just not reducing wastage or minimizing pollution, but everything to do with what is that we are leaving to the next generation to live on...a cleaner environment or trash pile to live on.
According to me all the current programs in India are good enough, we shall aim at making citizen participation better and improve the culture among the public towards the sustainability causes. A rickshaw puller should know that he can not spit pan masaala on the middle of the road, a car owner only only the car not road and he can not trash a cool drink pet on road, an industrialist should know he/she can not simply dump toxic waste into environment.
