For an environmentally sustainable future
1. Green energy should be promoted instead of fossil fuels. provision of bank loans for installation of solar plant in houses will increase the green energy utilisation and thereby can promote the EV also.
2. Due to over population building of houses are increasing drastically and it is reducing the usable farm lands. For this purpose flat system based buildings to be promoted and home loans should be given priority for such ideas.
3. Centralized collection of plastic wastes from houses and other institutes and conversion to reusable plastics will helps the environment.
4. Protection of forest land and afforestation to be encouraged. Urban afforestation in micro and macro scale also can be promoted. Corporates should be encouraged for programming team plantation.
5. Protection of water bodies to be encouraged.

8. Rivers, lakes, water bodies and nearby infrastructure should not only be beautified but cleanliness management should also be encouraged for the public and by the public along with their participation.
9. Monthly one weekend push for public to not only clean their homes but their immediate surroundings along with the municipal bodies helping to clear the dust can become a good initiative.
10. There should be 3-4 players in each sector for a balanced effort to work on govt. initiatives that can provide competitive edge all the time and should keep proving themselves.
11. Not only monetary benefits, but environmental benefits should also be taught alongside for the initiatives.
12. Ministers who speak on public forums should speak more of govt. policies rather than respond for things that lead to public property damage. Elders (Subject Matter Experts) of the respective field should be able to teach (Margadarshan) what freshers need to learn w.r.t. public service.

Practice of joint family system will solve most of the problems that we are facing today.
(i) sharing of resources - Use of single vehicle to drop children to school, office, marketing, etc. thereby reducing use of fossil fuel, pollution, etc.
(ii) Judicial use of resources - Advice of elders to buy, use, operate the things will reduce the wastage/disposal of resources
(iii) Multiple use of resources - A single newspaper can be read by all the members of the family.

The following may be effective:
1. Plastic disposal should be tried in road construction as Nitin Gadkari had suggested which makes the roads elastic.
2. Rain water harvesting should get a push.
3. There should be nearby parks for every local community so that kids and elders can walk and play, and effective maintenance should be overseen by DM's every quarter by ratings provided by locals.
4. Areas that reach maximum sun/heat, have maximum barren land should be given greater push for Solar initiatives, while coastal and hilly belts if they have wind mills should get greater traction.
5. Ease of solar power adaptation initiatives for apartment and individual houses should ease many electricity problems and provides peace of mind.
6. Every power station/substation can have their own managed solar grid which will provide additional and alternate supply in case of any issues.
7. Public transport should be transformed into electric vehicles soon.

1.For all major waste like computers, laptops, mobile phones and led bulbs recycling should be made mandatory for citizens. These items shall be brought only after the recycle of the old one.To promote that a cashback or discount to be given. Also e waste generating products shall be linked to the aadhar. So that the products(e waste generating) owned by a person is available with the government.
The government shall put an efficient technically qualified team to make use of this e-waste to remake the original product economically feasible way or to reuse the parts to the extent. This work is more tedious than the present e waste handling methods. But will reduce the waste to 10% or less.
