In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

In order to conserve and replenish ground water do make it mandatory for every new structure build, private or commercial to setup ground water recharge system and provide subsidy/concession on tax for it. Read rest in the attachment

Respected Madam, We are getting salary after tax is deducted. We pay tax where ever we go : Travel, Food, Shopping, Entertainment. We are ending up paying more than 50% of sal as tax. Please make one tax for salaried people. Thanks, Madhu

We do not have any kind of social security for middle class citizens who pay all taxes throughout their working life. There is no pension. Please waive income tax payment for those above 60 years or start some kind of social security for this class.

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को चाहे वो राष्ट्रपति हो,PM हो या सड़क पर सोनेवाला भिक्षु उन्हें 3 चीजो की आवश्यकता रहती है 👉 रोटी, कपड़ा और मकान। कृषि क्षेत्र में यथाशीघ्र "स्वामीनाथन समिति" की सिफारिशों को लागू किया जाए। रोजगार वृद्धि के लिए "आर्थिक विकेंद्रीकरण" की नीति & महान अर्थशास्त्री महात्मा गांधी जी के सुझाव "not mass production but production by the masses" को लागू किया जाए। Globalization से उत्पन्न हुई समस्याओं का समाधान Localization से ही करने की जरूरत है। शिक्षा क्षेत्र में वैदिक बोर्ड का गठन करें

Improving the decision making process at various regulators level is critical. many businesses suffer due to undue delay and virtually no accountability on part of the regulators to respond in time. This applies to all the regulators like SEBI, IRDA, RBI to almost every one. If a turn around time is enforced on these regulators , this will go a long way in Ease of Doing Business

Fresh Water is quickly becoming a scarcity in Bangalore. Could you please allocate budget for desilting of lakes and devising a mechanism for providing clean drinking water for citizens?

since kick starting the economy and infusing liquidity is priority for the Govt , one immediate solution is to accelerate payment s due to business entities for long pending bills and refunds which will not only help the business but also banking system as it unlocks the working capital stuck.
