In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

Subsidy to MP/MLA should be curbed. Why pay 15000/- pm for Telecom/internet when unlimited call and data is available for Rs. 150/- per month

First of all I thanks the entire team of mygov.in who established the platform and provide the right to speak/contribute towards the change/growth of our country through their feedback/ suggestion. We Hope for a better future. Dear Budget Preparer, We should required to add GST benefits in the Income Tax return paid by the end user i.e. consumer. It will help to reduce the Tax evasion in both Direct and Indirect tax. I have a draft plan to implement the same Amanpreet Singh Financial Advisor

Madam, as part of bengaluru eco team i request you to provide reusable cloth pads under ministry of family and health. Also menustral cups to all PHS. Atleast our sanitary waste reduces with no dioxins from incinerators to inhale. Our country is gripping under severe environment crisis. If we dont work on sustainable projects, our good earth will throw at us bounty of return gifts like we are seeing in muzzafarnagar cases etc. Our own biological bombs are geting ready in our landfills...

Interest on PF should be tax free even after the person is out of job or retired. This will encourage him to keep the PF invested and not withdraw to invest elsewhere.

To improve the situation going ahead Need to bring in the black money if possible. Implement stringent laws and ensure to curtail all benami transactions. We have made big real estate bubble before it burst. Bcoz of benami investment s by politicians the rates are kept above the SR Value and middle class is not able to afford a house inspire of the schemes given by central government.

To incentivise tax payment, provide medical benefit/cover based on the total tax paid in life time. For ex Upto 50 lac tax paid 2.5 lac medical cover. 1 cr tax paid 5 lac medical cover and so on.

Respected Finance Minister, if you really want to strengthen INDIA the please focus on EDUCATION, INNOVATION, RESEARCH because these are the only things which provide strong base for development of country. The worst thing of INDIA is that we focus on unnecessary things.for example wo had conducted world's costly election which is not required and for EDUCATION INNOVATION RESEARCH we say we have no money. This is the contradiction which is not digested.We need STRONG WILL POWER FOR STRONG INDIA
