economy is very bad shape & money market very tight so I have suggestion that you reduce GST charges from 18% to 10% or 12% in banking charges , telephone bills , electricity bills or any other utilities bills & in shares buying or selling this is will be huge savings in hands of poor, lower , middle & higher class of people & this will increase there purchasing power & they will start purchasing which is very good for our slow economy

Congratulation for Presenting Union Budget as a first Women finance minister.
1. Introduce Living expenses deduction up to 2 Lakhs (Can be replaced with standard deduction)
2. 30% or 40% of expenses should be allowed as deduction if bills with GSTN is submitted
3. This will reduce the tax evasion done by assesse with business income.
4. Government can get more tax by bringing unaccounted revenues into tax bracket.
5. Employer can verify bills and approve, as they do for TDS
Best of luck

Dear Sir/Madam, Here are two items:
1. Encouragement for sustainable buildings, rainwater harvesting, water conservation
2. To enable more social justice - there should be a clause for exemption for head of household(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_of_Household). This really help those single earning members of moderate to large families. Since India still there are joint families and responsibilities of joint families, this would really balance a lot.

The Union Budget must provide for reusable menstrual hygiene products under the National Health Mission: both Rural and Urban, instead of free disposable sanitary napkins and incinerators. These products should be made available at Jan Aushadi Kendras and Public Health Centres. ASHA and Anganwadi workers should be trained on menstrual hygiene and managing it sustainably.

Respected Madam,
Kindly simplify the GST submission portal since it is very complicated and a lot of time is wasted to file the monthly as well as annual returns.

Govt should create a cloud-based Online GST platform to which everyone can connect their billing systems so that govt can have the online data of how much GST was collected on a particular day, Govt can make it either compulsory or can give some benefit to those who connect in this way so that tax frauds can be prevented, This will also eliminate the manual process through which everyone is paying the GST, For the benefits, All the retail players of consumer good would connect to this readily.
