While Advance tax is payable in 3 installments based on estimated tax payable less TDS to be deducted. In case of TDS from salary it has been observed that TDS is not deducted prorata every month on estimated income tax due in the full FY. Employees manage large TDS in the last few months of the FY rather on equitable basis every month on estimated income tax payable for the FY.
This can be seen from Form 26AS of even govt. employees. This delays income tax collection of govt.and against rules.

Madam, In GST Act., there is harsh provisions for late fees, which is very much erratic for Indian people, which are largely illiterate or very less educated or ignorant about the consequences of non complying of provisions of filing of Returns in timely manner under GST Act. Further, there are separate penalty for each return for each month, the cumulative impact of which become very harsh. In my opinion it should be based on tax and not a fixed sum applicable for all, for rich and the poor.

The Previous Year Budget mentioned that 98-99% of the benefits of No LTCG on Equity Shares was availed by the institution like FII, Trust etc. These institutions should have LTCG tax on Equity Shares. But why are "Individuals" taxed on LTCG on Equity Shares. Many Individuals hold on to Equity for longer periods than 1 year like 10 to 15 years. Hardly 3% of Population is in Equity To give boost to Equity culture hence Economy NO LTCG tax on Equity for Individual Tax Payer

Tax Defaulters scheme
A scheme may be introduced to identify those who have been continuous defaulters for last five years and introduce penal provisions for them. In line with MASTER CIRCULAR ISSUED BY RBI
This will deter tax defaulters.
