Pranam Sir, I would like to convey my regards to you for providing an easy forum to discuss direct with the Pradhan Mantri of our great country India. This is to note that in this ongoing spring season we usually enjoy the beauty of nature, that is why this season is called the queen of six seasons of a year. Flowers bloom in the gardens and in forests. But it is also to notice that the trees, particularly the deciduous trees shed their leaves in this particular season. In the forest areas, the local people knowing or unknowing the severity of the danger they are welcoming, they put fire to the dry shaded leaves of the jungle which causes the loss of new saplings of the forests, the small plants, endangered herbs even the endangered animals and reptiles of the forests. Sir, if it could be call on the common people not to put fire in this season of natural shedding of leaves, it could be milestone work to save the balance of the nature of the nation. Respected Prime Minister, Farmers are the backbone of our nation. During colonial times, farmers received fair prices for their produce and disputes were resolved quickly. However, after independence, corruption and lack of accountability in the parliamentary system have led to severe exploitation of farmers. Today, we witness the highest rates of farmer suicides, malnourished children, and unmarried youth in rural communities. Although international agreements have been signed, unless the government itself procures produce at fair prices and exports it, these agreements remain meaningless for farmers. We urge you to take concrete steps to ensure fair pricing, transparent markets, and true empowerment of farmers.
