Respected Prime Minister, INDIAN ARMY LAND OR BHARAT LAND ? All land in Bharat belongs to Bharat and not to any institution. Indian Army possesses land far in excess of requirement. On paper, Army will show that it is deficient of land. This deficiency is a colonial legacy. Land authorisation was huge in pre independence era. Same authorisation continues. This is not fair. Army possesses three Golf Courses in important cities where land can be better utilised for public causes. At many places, Army authorities hold land but have no plans for utilisation. Yet they won’t part with it. In case some officers would make recommendations for giving away land, they will be called anti organisation. Sadar pranam Major General Prakash Chandra Veteran

The govt should ensure that casual leave, medical leave and non-salary leave are properly provided in factories where labor laws are in force. Leave sanction is not issued properly. Even if they inform about the leave in advance, they keep absent. Women workers are the most affected in this regard. Women workers often face problems in terms of leave and wages as they do not have unions. On that day, if the workers want to contact the higher authorities to inform them about the leave, they do not pick up the call and put in an absentee. If you take medical leave there are problems in submitting the excess leaves for that year and getting paid. There is a risk of reduction in provident fund savings due to absenteeism even after informing about the leave properly. Therefore, the govt should modify the provisions regarding leave in the establishments under the Labor Act. The Ministry of Labor and Welfare should also create a special unit to receive grievances related to leave
