Sir, Further, such assembly session must be compulsory for each new entrant in the College to attend. Such sessions can be arranged atleast for 1st n 2nd year students, there after for final year students with their parents.
During my college days we had such practice n was really informative n making students to understand n adjust with this transition stage of their education from school to college. It should not be just as ritual, but must be effective.
Jai Hind

Sir,
Vandematram.
Inline with new education policy n nation wide preparation to gear up for it's effective implementation, I would like to suggest following:
So far it is not customery to invite parents n gauardins n have direct talk with them atleast once in 6months by each faculty heads, N VC to appraise them of their wards progress, interest n also hear them as well. This will have two way communication at all levels. Moreover at the beginning of each ee academic se6, VC must address

Sir, Mann ki Baat : citizens/residents be asked to be vigilant, keep their Eyes, ears and mouth open against corruption, terrorism, adulteration, crime etc. (Hydra-headed issues). These are never done by an individual. Either they connive with others or others are in knowledge of same. If people are vigilant ,report these matters to police/share video on some centralised number, it will work as a deterrent ,culprits will be caught early. Naming/shaming/strict punishment to follow.
