Respected Shri Narendra Modi, The unconstitutional collegium judiciary, as critiqued by Capt. Ajit Vadakayil, fosters judicial overreach, undermining India’s democratic balance. Its misuse of powers encroaches on executive and legislative roles. Vadakayil highlights: State of Tamil Nadu vs. Governor (April 8, 2025): The Supreme Court’s ruling (WP Civil No. 1239/2023) imposed a three-month timeline for Governors and the President to act on bills, invoking Article 142 to grant deemed assent. Vadakayil calls this judicial adventurism, violating executive discretion under Articles 200 and 201. River Interlinking Case (ongoing): Vadakayil criticizes the Supreme Court’s suo motu push for river interlinking, overriding expert objections and executive policy on water management, which he deems a legislative domain. The Order of Precedence ranks Governors above the CJI, yet courts dictate terms to higher authorities. I urge reforms to abolish the collegium system

The UPI-BHIM setup should support transactions via IVRS and SMS. This becomes especially critical when a smartphone is switched off or unavailable. Currently, shop stickers lack essential information such as the shop name, owner's name, type of bank account, owner's mobile number, and the centralized IVRS and SMS details required for enabling offline payments.
