India’s fitness movement needs to evolve from “sports for some” to “fitness for all.” Through platforms like Mann Ki Baat led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this vision can reach every corner of the country. A powerful idea would be a nationwide “Fit Hour” in schools, where every student participates in daily physical activity, not for competition but for overall well-being. Highlighting real stories from small towns and ordinary students will inspire wider participation. When fitness becomes a shared daily habit rather than an occasional activity, it can truly transform into a people’s movement and strengthen the foundation of a healthier India.

Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, I would like to request you to address the topic of “Youth Skill Development and Employment in Rural Areas” in the upcoming episode of Mann Ki Baat. Many young people in villages have talent but lack proper guidance, training, and job opportunities. If you could guide us on skill-based education, digital learning, and small business opportunities, it would motivate millions of youth to become self-reliant and contribute to the nation’s growth. Also, please share inspiring stories of rural youth who have succeeded through hard work and innovation. Thank you for always inspiring the nation

This message highlights the need to balance welfare initiatives, often referred to as freebies, with responsible planning, while also strengthening women-led development through leadership, innovation, and inclusive opportunities. Together, responsible welfare and empowered Nari Shakti can guide India toward transparent governance, sustainable growth, and inclusive progress.

Respected Modi kaka, Sadar pranam. I would like to suggest introducing an “Input Transparency Index” or “Soil & Input Disclosure Score” on packaged staples such as rice and wheat. Today, consumers see nutritional information but have no visibility on how the food is grown, particularly the level of fertilizer and chemical inputs used. A simple, standardised score on packaging can: Give citizens the right to make informed choices Encourage farmers to adopt more balanced input practices Support long-term soil health and sustainability This is not about penalising farmers, but about creating transparency and rewarding better practices over time. If implemented in a phased manner, this can meaningfully improve trust and quality in India’s food ecosystem. Thank you for your time and consideration. Warm regards, Rishikar Krishna Mumbai
