Puttaraj Gawai was a great musician and humanitarian whose life was dedicated to serving society. Though blind from infancy, he mastered both Hindustani classical music and Carnatic classical music and could play more than ten musical instruments with great skill. Through the Veereshwara Punyashrama in Gadag, he provided free education, food, and shelter to thousands of visually impaired and orphaned children, training them in music so they could become self-reliant. He was also a respected scholar who wrote over eighty books in Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi, and translated spiritual and philosophical works into Braille to make knowledge accessible to the blind community. He used music and theatre to support social service and preserve Indian cultural traditions. Because of his extraordinary contributions to music, literature, and humanitarian service, many admirers believe that awarding him the Bharat Ratna posthumously would be a fitting tribute to his lifelong service to humanity

Current safety apps depend on manual action, which may not be possible in real danger. In this system, the mobile uses AI to detect distress situations like panic or forced actions through sound and behavior patterns. It works in low-power mode and activates only during high-risk situations, protecting privacy and saving battery. Once triggered, it automatically records audio, video, and location, and securely sends the data to a government monitoring system. To avoid false alarms, a trained human verifier checks the situation before alerting the police. If there is no response, the system auto-escalates to the nearest police station. Shares data only by user consent, other govt number.AI is used only for detection, while humans make final decisions, improving accuracy. The system also creates employment opportunities and ensures secure, consent-based usage. Thank you.
