If the police do not want to work on animal cruelty case let the PCA act and ABC rules get cancelled by the Parliament and let us declare that anyone can harm the street animals. Why is the Government allocating funds for the welfare of street animals? The street dog as a species is truly fed up of us. It is fed up of its forced sterilization which is not done correctly by the Corporations. It is fed up of the unnecessary hatred from the very humans it has protected since times unknown. It is fed up of the dirty money that flows in the name of its welfare. It is now fed-up living with us who spare no effort in harming them. It’s time to say goodbye to the Man’s Best Friend. We have broken the soul of our nation in showing so much apathy, indifference and violence towards the voiceless. We are all giving up sir.

Why should a citizen like me and others who are the care takers of community animals beg, plead and cry to the police to bring justice to illegal actions against animals? We are doing everything possibly we can as be stated by the law and the Constitution and not doing anything on our whims and fancy. We spend our money, time and our whole life trying to feed the stray animals, spay and neuter dogs and save them from injuries and accidents and in return are treated like criminals in the police station . The police did nothing to get information from the offenders about the dog. However, the inspector of the police station, the very person who should be an example to others in the community grabbed a phone from a female activist and forced her to enter the pin in front of all the onlookers.

उन्हें यह नहीं पता है कि देश के विकास के लिए जो धन करदाताओं से लिया जाता है वह आम करदाताओं द्वारा कैसे और कितने परिश्रम करके कमाया जाता है | और यह कहें कि यह विश्व के सबसे बड़े प्रजातान्त्रिक देश के लिए सबसे बड़ा अपमान का विषय है जहाँ जनता द्वारा बहुमत से चुने गए एक सरकार द्वारा लिए गए किसी भी निर्णय के प्रति सम्पूर्ण देश में इस तरह विरोध प्रदर्शन कर आम लोगों को प्रताड़ित किया जाता है | किसी भी चीज का विरोध करना देश की आम जनता का मौलिक अधिकार है लेकिन देश की संपतियों का रक्षा करना भी उनका मौलिक कर्तव्य है | चूंकि अधिकार एवं कर्तव्य में अन्योन्याश्रय संबंध है तो बिना कर्तव्य - पालन के अधिकार की परिकल्पना कैसे की जा सकती है | एक सभ्य एवं आम नागरिक होने के नाते मैं देश के सभी युवाओं, अभिभावकों, सभी दलों के नेताओं से यह विनम्र निवेदन करना चाहता हूँ कि अगर आप सरकार से किसी भी बिन्दु पर असहमत हों तो विरोध करें और जरूर करें क्योंकि संविधान में ऐसा प्रावधान है लेकिन वह शांतिपूर्वक, न्यायसंगत एवं एक सम्मानजनक विपक्ष के अनुकूल हो |

Respected PM-Two years ago during Covid you spoke about the plight of street animals and appreciated those who take care of them. What has this government done in the last eight years for the welfare of animals sir? Has there been one progressive step taken for their protection? Close to 4 lac people have signed petition appealing you to amend the PCA act and there is no action. Hugely disappointing to see only talk and zero action sir. We are failing the concept of Ahimsa and our rich culture of love and compassion to all beings.
