MoHUA has launched various programs such as the Smart City Mission (SCM) to tackle the urban issues of the nation. SCM is an urban regeneration and modernization program of the government with the mission to develop cities across the country. The Ease of Living Index is one of its initiatives that is quantified across three pillars: quality of life, economic ability, and sustainability. The fourth pillar i.e. Citizen Perception Survey assesses the sense of people's outlook on their respective cities and validates the analysis performed on the previous three pillars. This survey would allow us to comprehend citizens' perceptions on quality of life in their cities. Quality Council of India (QCI) believes there is no better platform to reach the target audience than "PM's Mann ki Baat" to inform Indian citizens about the need for active participation. During the violence the unruly mobs damaged govt property. Though police take action but proper evidence got lost during the hearing at court because of their presence is made questionable. My suggestion is to use water canon and the water to be mixed with proper dye and sprayed on the mob. Simultaneously video thorough drone may be taken. Color on the dress is an evident that s/he participated during the violence. Plain dress policemen may act from three direction(not in front) and actual police force should act from front. Rubber bullet pistol to be used by the plain cloth policeman. They may also use vehicle which are not being used as identified police vehicle. There should be close watch where ever repeated untoward incidents are happening.
