Sir, this initiative can become a model policy for the entire nation to strengthen minority engagement and local participation in governance. I humbly request that this idea be considered for national replication or be mentioned in Mann Ki Baat to inspire other States to adopt such participatory frameworks.

In its current form, the law is being misused by some individuals, where marriage is being treated like a business opportunity rather than a sacred bond. Many men and their families are facing harassment through false cases and unfair legal obligations. Genuine victims deserve protection, but there should be equal rights and safeguards for men as well. A balanced and gender-neutral approach will ensure justice for all, reduce legal misuse, and uphold the true spirit of marriage. Kindly consider this request for the betterment of society and to protect the integrity of Indian families.
