This incident took place on 7th October 2025.
In Gujarat’s Surat district, new talukas were created through an administrative reorganization. However, due to an oversight, eight villages located near Mandvi taluka were erroneously placed under the Areth taluka division. As a result, villagers had to travel long distances for even minor government-related work.
In response, the residents of all the affected villages collectively submitted a petition to the State Minister for Tribal and Rural Development, Mr. Kunwarjibhai Halpati. The minister presented the matter before the state cabinet, and their request was graciously approved. Consequently, those villages were reinstated into Mandvi taluka.
From this event, I realized that when people present their grievances to the government in a rightful and organized manner, it can lead to positive and meaningful outcomes—because the government always seeks to serve the welfare of its people.

Respected PM sir, Privatizing the software operations of the State Bank of India (SBI) could be a strategic move to accelerate digital transformation, but it requires careful structuring. Create a separate SBI-owned tech company (like SBI Cards or SBI Mutual Fund). This entity would handle software development, maintenance, and innovation. Operate with private-sector agility while retaining SBI’s strategic control. Collaborate with top tech firms (e.g., Infosys, Wipro, startups) under performance-based contracts. Focus on modular upgrades: mobile banking, AI-driven customer service, fraud detection. Outsource helpdesk, infrastructure management, and testing to private players. Retain control over core banking logic and data governance.

Subject: Request for Ban on High-Decibel Noise Fireworks
The Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modiji,
Request for a Ban on High-Decibel Noise-Making Fireworks During Diwali
I am writing to respectfully request the government impose a ban on high-decibel noise-making fireworks during Diwali. This measure is essential to protect the health and well-being of citizens, especially the elderly, children, and those with sensitive hearing.
The excessive noise generated by high-decibel fireworks can have severe health consequences, including hearing loss, stress, anxiety & sleep disturbances. These effects can have a significant impact on individual’s quality of life & overall health
Additionally, the loud noise from fireworks can frighten animals, leading to distress & potential harm. Diwali celebration should not come at the cost of public health & the welfare of animals
I urge you to immediately implement a ban on high-decibel noise-making fireworks during Diwali
Rohit
