India is the second-largest contributor to food waste globally. While many organizations—such as FSSAI, Good To Grab, and others—are actively working to address this issue, there is still a critical need for stricter policies and enforcement.
A robust policy should mandate that no edible food goes to waste. Items nearing expiry must be donated rather than discarded. The restaurant and bakery sectors, in particular, contribute significantly to daily food waste.
To tackle this, municipal corporations must take responsibility by conducting regular audits of food waste and imposing fines on excessive wastage. Enforcing accountability at the local level will drive better compliance.
If addressed effectively, this initiative could greatly benefit both the country and its citizens—ensuring food reaches those in need while reducing environmental impact.

The condition of our cities are horrible. our highways have been improved immensely but conditions of our cities are very bad.An average bhartiya citizen spends ninty% of his time in cities. traffic jams , unauthorised capturing of public property, British era drainage system, no potable water through tap, non planned residential mushrooming. Central Govt. must plan satellite towns near old cities with complete urban design incorporating buildings made of environment friendly materials, multi layers transport system including tramways which is a common mode of transportation in world cities. DM plant enabling potable water through taps , well planned drainage system. Every area has a rain water storage system, wind power or solar power or both system installation as per the Geographic condition. There must be pathways dedicated to pedestrian & cycle users. current cities are beyond improvement or will cost high. Also one authority to maintain the city infrastructure & management.

Respected Sir,
Your Vision Of Swadeshi Abhiyaan Has Inspired Millions Of Indians To Choose And Promote Indian Products. This Initiative Not Only Builds Economic Self-Reliance But Also Rekindles National Pride.
However, To Make The Movement Even Stronger, I Request The Government To Consider Reducing Taxes And Compliance Burdens On Indian Companies.
When Indian manufacturers and brands get such relief, they can offer products at slightly lower prices than foreign brands. This would create a double benefit:
1️⃣ Indian Companies Will Grow Faster, Create More Jobs And Expand Exports.
2️⃣ Indian Consumers Will Be Able To Buy Quality Local Products At Affordable Rates.
This way, Swadeshi will become both a patriotic and an economically practical choice for every citizen. It will truly make India Atmanirbhar — where buying Indian is not just a matter of pride, but also of smart value.
Thank You,
Citizen Of India 🇮🇳

Why can't two wheeler manufacturers be asked to add a timer to the turning indicators in every two wheeler ? Which can be programmed to turn off after say 60 or 30 seconds .
Wrong indicators which are indicator signals which are not switched off manually are a big danger on the roads . And it's the fault of none as almost every one forgets to switch off the signal after taking a turn .
The auto switch off signal system suggested above is affordable as the timer cost is negligible.
Yet the system is not in vogue. For reasons known only to the two wheeler companies. They should be asked to make the reasons public .
Let the public know what is stopping them from implementing such a simple but immensely useful and probably unavoidable modification to their two wheelers.
Interventional at govt level may help . That's why this post . For the kind attention of the honourable PM and /or the coordinators of man ki baath program

Financial inclusiveness schemes are not reaching the vulnerable population. mandate employers to inform their employees and enroll them into bima and healthcare/pharmacy yojanas. also, update the poverty line to help target efforts towards the vulnerable population
