Indian Information Technology Service (IITS) ; need of the hour. The digital landscape in India has transformed dramatically in recent years, particularly since the introduction of Reliance Jio in 2016, which revolutionized the Indian telecommunications sector. This development led to unprecedented access to mobile data and internet services, enabling a surge in online activities across both government and private sectors. As urbanization accelerates, the reliance on technology by citizens is expected to grow, with online services becoming increasingly central to daily life. Citizens now depend on digital platforms for government transactions, banking, e-commerce, and more. In light of this evolution, there is an urgent need for a dedicated Indian Information Technology Service (IITS) to ensure efficient management, security, and interoperability in the digital space.
