Request Safety Initiatives for the Elderly in Tamil Nadu Improved access to healthcare facilities, including specialized geriatric care and home healthcare services, addresses the medical needs of the elderly. Senior citizen clubs and community centres promote social interaction, reducing isolation and fostering a sense of belonging. The establishment of helplines and emergency services ensures quick assistance for elderly individuals in distress. Strengthening laws against elder abuse and ensuring legal rights helps safeguard vulnerable seniors from exploitation. Educational initiatives aim to raise awareness about the rights and needs of elderly individuals, promoting respect and care within families and communities. These measures are aimed at enhancing the safety, well-being, and quality of life for older adults in Tamil Nadu.
