Respected our most beloved PM ji Pranam, I am writing this letter to point out a big fun and joke being played in our country. Sir, during my childhood I heard my mother used to wish others by saying happy DASHAHARA or happy VIJAYA DASHAMI in the evening on the tenth day of our famous Durga Puja festival. This was just to express our joy over the defeat of ten-headed demon called Ravana because it is believed that on this very auspicious day the demon Ravana was killed by our Lord RAM. However, recently it is noticed that people are using a new word DUSSEHRA to express their joy. Please note this word is made of two urdu words called DUS means Ten and SEHRA means Crown. So by saying happy Dussehra people are in fact glorifying this ten headed demon called Ravana instead of demeaning him. Actually this new word DUSSEHRA was introduced by some non Hindu person just to make fun of our rich culture. So I request you humbly to declare this word as invalid. Thanks. R H De

Respected Modiji, Carnatic Festival Every Year, Crowd Diminishing? ( started in 1927, as per internet sources) December Festival of Carnatic Music in Chennai, Tamilnadu, must reach many people across Bharat. Many people in Chennai are themselves not aware of this although they are interested to see or train their kids to participate in Carnatic shows. If you speak a word of encouragement ( as you always do) this will reach many homes. It will promote more adults and kids to encourage shows representing diverse Talents of Carnatic music field. else some who might not like to see this Carnatic art flourishing will replace unhealth shows instead. आदरणीय प्रधान मंत्री जी नमस्ते, महात्मा गाॅधी जी और आपने स्वच्छ भारत , और स्वच्छता पर ज्यादा ध्यान दिया ।रेलवे फ्लैटफार्म या बस स्टेशनों में या पाठशाओ में बदलाव होने लगा है पर मंदिरों में मंदिर के आस पास गंदगी में सुधार नहीं हुआ है। बडे बडे मन्दिरो में या छोटे छोटे मंदिरों के अन्दर या बाहर पुरानी बोतले या कागज के टूकडे आदि पडें रहते है। इस पर सुधार होना चाहिये। मंदिर के जो व्यस्थापक है उनकी जिम्मेदारी होनी चाहिये। मन्दिर के आस पास गंदगी होने पर "जुर्माना" लगाना चाहिये। जब कोई वी आई पी आते है तभी सफाई रहता है अन्यथा नहीं। मेरा आप से निवेदन है कि आप मन की बात में मन्दिरो में भी स्वच्छता पर ध्यान देने को कहा जाय। मंदिरो के पूजारियों की भी जिम्मेदारी होती है की मन्दिर के अन्दर या मन्दिर के आस पास भी स्वच्छता पर ध्यान देना चाहिये।
