The government has to make a significant move toward a greener future with the approval and sanction of the “Fuel of the Future” law, aimed at promoting the production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). This new legal framework positions as a key player in the global shift toward decarbonizing aviation while simultaneously driving job creation, technological innovation, and exports.Sustainable Aviation Fuels, which can reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional fossil fuels, are central to these efforts. With Brazil already recognized as a leader in biofuels, the new law aims to capitalize on the nation’s strengths and ensure its role in the future of global aviation sustainability.
