Respected Sir I want to draw your attention on the situation how people daily waste water with ease without concerning about anything. They wash their vehicles, road in front of their house, don’t bother to turn off the tap when not in use etc. My suggestion on this problem is to install water meter in each house like electricity meter so people come to know the value of water.Water wastage is a very big concern for everyone on this planet and there need to be a measure to stop it as early as possible. Please share your idea about this matter on upcoming series of Mann Ki Baat. Thank you

If the cement industry was a country, it would be the third largest polluter after US and China. Besides, cement/RCC homes emit toxic gases and VOCs that lead to cancer and life-threatening disorders in children and adults. They also are responsible for climate change and increasing heating of cities. The homes need energy-guzzling ACs and heaters. 40% of fresh water resources are used up by this industry, 50% of all landfill waste is thanks to them, not to forget 23% of air pollution. The solution is modern mud homes that are strong, survive natural disasters better, survive for centuries easily, naturally cool and heat the space so no ACs are needed, and purify the indoor air thus making it healthy for the family and planet. There is no demolition waste that gets generated and it is ideal for city homes, schools, hospital & public structures. Please read about Shagun Singh and Geeli Mitti for their seminal work in this regard & support such initiatives with right govt policies.

Sirs, When the entire Nation is working irrespective of summer season or otherwise why the Courts are permitted to have long summer vacation for one month every year? It is more devastating and disappointing that they are going regularly for one month each year, irrespective of millions of cases pending. It is high time that this wrong practice adopted during British time has to be dispensed with immediately.
