Solar Scheme for Lesser Yielding Agricultural Farmland: Develop a dual-use solar farming initiative where lesser-yielding agricultural land is partially converted into solar farms. Farmers lease their land for solar panel installation or develop themselves with a Power Purchase Agreement by the electrical distribution company, while continuing to cultivate shade-tolerant crops underneath the solar panels. This will help people like us, who is retired and have some farmland which is not economically viable for agriculture (poor soil quality and no water availability)
