Sir, In India there are no standard unit of measurement for selling products to the retail customers. For example, one cosmetic brand selling its product in 236 gm pack. In other case, chip brand selling its product in 107gm pack. In another case, on food delivery app sweet shop selling sweets in 222gm pack. Thus, without a standard unit of measurement, comparing the price per unit (like per 100, 250, 500gm or per kg) becomes very difficult for the average customer. This also allows companies to easily engage in "unfair trade practices." As when a company changes the weight of a product from 250gm to 222gm, but keeps the price same, customer never knows what he is actually paying for.
