Sir, Now we are celebrating the 75th year of independence. Our journey since independence has been mostly of missed opportunities at least till 2014. Many leaders, both at the national and state level, occupied the highest post who should not be there in the first place. Many of them not only indulged in corruption but also facilitated it and corruption percolated to the last men down the line. Eventually the whole society became corrupt. There are two ways of fighting corruption: first we need leaders with impeccable integrity who will set an example for others. Second, punishing people who are corrupt in the top level. Corruption will reduce if there is a fear among the top level of politicians. In this respect I would like to appreciate the role of ED. But have to travel a long distance. Between now and the centenary year of our independence ( 2047 ) it should be our endeavour to eradicate corruption from the society. I would like our Hon’ble PM to continue his good work.
