A National Mission on Mentoring (NMM) offers individuals to engage in the processes of learning under an experienced professional. To accomplish this goal a large pool of senior/ retired faculty can be selected as potential mentors for mentees. The selected mentors would be utilized for the specific purpose of mentoring students, teachers and school leaders. This would provide an opportunity to network with experts, engage in forums to exchange 'earnings, best practices and disseminate findings across various domains.

A structure of mentoring, therefore, offers a solution to address the existing gaps in decentralized manner. To regulate the functioning of NMM at each level of education structure, different stakeholders/ actors interact with each other to achieve a common goal towards improving the acquisition and transfer of knowledge, skills and mindsets. The main objective is to improve school education system through enhanced leadership in education. This can be achieved through the incorporation of large scale, decentralized technology assisted mentoring structure at different level of education system.

In this regard, a draft document on NMM titled as "Bluebook on Mentoring" has been placed in public domain on 03.11.2021, as a set of guidelines towards creation of a document and platform for National Mission for Mentoring.

NCTE invites inputs, suggestions and feedback on the draft document "Bluebook on Mentoring" from all stakeholders.

Respected Sir, I think the Education system should be like to give whatever a student aspire to become.There are many students who have to compromise due to money or non availability of good education.There should be made different cells consisting of teachers and professors who can help and guide the students.For example Medical cell,Skill development cells,Engineering cell etc.Thanks

Honorable PM Dear Modi, when a child of bharath desires to be a doctor,engineer,enterprise owner,former, what ever field we should not cut their desire during education all should get desired education later on job it is self talent to win socity. example 16 lakh students write neet exam wanting to become doctors. give medical education for all open all taluka health centers as Helthcare collage and enroll all of them this year supply study material online etc later lab facility

For a country of 140 crors people , 16 lakh students write need that means ambition of healthcare field all should get opportunity to do the healthcare education at least 90 percent of 16 lakh students should get opportunity to do healthcare services, we need so much of collages to in the same way every child should get opportunity to do desired education then Blue book will help other wise for 2 lakh Seats 16 lakh students fight is not fare , opportunity less country..

Gov Of India should take Responsibility of each and every single child from the age of 4 till the age of 14 , at the age of 14 child should get citizen ship after which child can work and study simultaneously. Blue book will help child to fulfill its ambition of education. until graduation mentor is required to mentor the child to achieve desired education and desired work field. even 1 child should not be left out of education field desired. job and development is childs skill

Dear sir/madam I really appreciate the prime minister of India shri narendra modi sir for giving this wonderful opportunity for every single citizens of India As a mentor my suggestion is every school including cbse and the State syllabus should make their teachers more friendly with students so that can make the students feel secured and happy so that the students can express their feelings and ideas to the teacher and also in every school there should be a session of gk knowledge for students

Dear sir, teachers should be given training to update themselves to present syllabus. After training they must write exam based on trained syllabus. Promotion / Demotion to be given according to the score taken by each teacher. Every year one project should be assigned to students which are well designed to know practical application of what they are studying. This will prepare them for jobs after studying.
