The Central Government Ministries/ Departments and Central Public Sector Undertaking are mandated to procure 25% (as amended in 2018) of their annual value of goods or services from micro and small enterprises vide Public Procurement Order Notified vide S.O. 581 (E) dated 23rd March 2012. Under the policy, 358 items are exclusively reserved for procurement from MSEs which help in the promotion and growth of Micro and Small Enterprises and play a critical role in fostering inclusive growth in the country.

The existing list required a relook to find out the relevance in the present-day context of technological change, and the growth of small and micro enterprises. The Internal Technical Committee of the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises has prepared a revised list of 469 items (including Goods & Services) to be reserved for exclusive procurement from MSEs.

Stakeholders, Industries associations, MSME units and the General public are invited to share their suggestions and comments on the list of 469 items reserved for exclusive purchase from MSEs under the Public Procurement Policy.

I requested OTI revamping after seeing the present status of our post offices They are bussing with activity now with lot of computerization and rural reach. Once the post offices were in red after couriers taken their role now PM jis initiatives paid rich dividends... They are almost like rural govt banks trusted by our villagers.. Hats off to this effort...for all those involved.. Regards T ANNAMALAI

Respected PMji To accelerate industrial growth and development of rural manpower since most of the youngsters are not willing to take up agriculture as profession 1) infrastructure and facilities in ITI's to be increased and revamped.... 2) More courses in consultation with industries like CNC TRG etc to be introduced 3) Tie up with industries in the region is a must...Govt can allocate more funds and subsidies on fees etc. 4) Our IAS officers and Industrialists may suggest much more than what I say.. 5) Even if reqd pvt companies can be permitted to start relevent courses/ institute s as per their need 6) software TRG ITIs can be started exclusively for school passers in district level to tap unemployed rural manpower with nominal fees...HCL is recruiting like tha nowadays...yu can study their model also. 7) not only ITI ..yu can offer diplamos also. This i suggest because not interested in farming are roaming and they are directionless since they are from rural areas

I have authored a book titled, "Make A Winning Product" by Tapan Roy. The e-book is available on amazon. In at a paltry sum of ₹99 only. This book has been written only to help our MSME sector. It is written in simple English, so that any body can follow the principles. Jai Hind.
