Irony, govt taking steps to eliminate violence and discrimination against women whereas in reality, it refrain from enacting laws which procure employment of women in Par with men.. actions must be done in reality rather in papers. women lacks employment equality in defence, judiciary and other govt related jobs... and without prioritizing women employment in Par with men, govt will not achieve women empowerment and discrimination would persist in this patriarchal society. laws curtail viol

Why we must eliminate violence against women
Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today remains largely unreported due to the impunity, silence, stigma and shame surrounding it. All in all, the promise of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - to leave no one behind - cannot be fulfilled without putting an end to violence against women and girls.

On the pious land of great freedom fighters there should not be any Violence or discrimination with respect to gender.
Women should be given preference in various fields to enhance their capacity and capability.
Today world is learning from us that how to do various things and if we do gender violence it will be shame for us.
Let's say no to any violence and proceed together under the governance of modi ji to take india to a great height.
And in this women contribution is equally important.

We have to plough patriarchal society, we only pluck the criminals against woman who get fertilized from these mindsets of society only. For this we may start with the fact that no middle name as father name should be added to a child's birth certificate.Mother's & father's name should be written separately on it. It's culture of Britishers to associate a child, especially a boy with their father, such happened in Jhansi,it's never been our culture. Can we use veerveerangana instead of mahapurush.

Education is the answer to every problem. Awareness should be created among women about domestic violence and site where to report. Men should visit psychologist to avoid such act because sometimes they are in huge mental stress which cause them to form such bad act.
Always respect women and the country.

To prevent violence against women more strict laws, more facilities, more opportunities, should be provided, also women should be allowed to keep small weapons like tasers, paper spray, alarms, loud sirens, and apps and gadgets for tracking their safety, also physical strength self defence programs to be introduced at each levels like school, colleges, workplace, also the working hours required to be planned to inhance safety and prevent violence against women.
