Gender-based violence refers to violence directed against a person because of his or her gender and expectations of his or her role in a society or culture. Women are disproportionately affected by violence and gender inequalities, rendering violence against women a significant public health problem.

In Colleges Separate paper may be framed with the syllabus includes Awareness about Health and hygiene, approach with other students, safety measures, Food habits, Government schemes for Women, Women's rights and Cyber security, etc,. Separate Classes may be conducted in optional basis in the beginning semester. Men may be engaged with any other optional paper. Definitely it'll help to give awareness and violence against women may be eliminated with education. Jai Hind

Sir, after doing our home work now we will go back to roots fm where we can make some awareness to root out such malice against woman. 1- in schooling we will teach not to discriminate between children on gender basis.2-physical & self defence trainings r a must one. 3- girls to be taught that their bodies r not a commodity to be projected with less clothes in glamorous industries.4-respect for women be a top priority.5-family to reaffirm faith & equal share in property.6-woman confidence a must

Hon'ble P.M sir
Inviting suggestion in public open forum,on elimination of violence against women is very good decision by MyGovt.
As per our Indian culture a women is like a Mother,sister,daughter.etc., it is in olden days and now a days it is not appearing in our society.
A women can't go out alone to anywhere in these days.
In my Opinion First point a women protect herself by learn KARATE for self deference and wearing of dresses properly in public, to prevent such offences.
