Rashtriya Ekta Divas (National Unity Day) is observed every year on 31st October to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary. It not only commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India, but also re-affirms the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand threats to the unity, integrity and security of the Country.
National Unity Day this year will follow the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsa

Govt should ensure if the help line for women are being properly addressed by the concerned membersand there should always be a 24 hr help line in case of any issue encountered by women especially at night time. Not just addressing the call there should an immediate action taken at the right time to save the women who is under threat.Police patrol should be in rounds till 12 -1pm to address the problem immediately. Abusers should be severely punished which should create a fear on women abuse

Situations have changed lately. Please get the real data from Police stations and you will be shocked to know that 99% cases lodged by females are false and malicious. Males need more security than females as far as legal cases are concerned but yes violence against females must be dealt with stronger laws which we don’t have. Time to change lots of laws and unfollow 1860 IPC and Police act.
