Violence against women and girls is a pervasive violation of human rights that persists worldwide and cuts across all socio-economic groups. This new collaborative study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the magnitude, nature and context of violence experienced specifically by indigenous girls, adolescents and young women.

Following are some of the measures:
1. Educate yourself on violence against women; learn the facts and the prevalence
2. Believe survivors
3. Contact your local legislators and political leaders and advocate for tougher laws against perpetrators of violence against women.
4. Contact your local school board and ask them to address sexual harassment in schools.
5. Speak out against all forms of violence.
6. Question gender roles and assumptions

Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today remains largely unreported due to the impunity, silence, stigma and shame surrounding it.
Another future without violence against women is possible with education, essential services across policing, justice, health, and social sectors, and sufficient financing dedicated to women's rights.

Nearly 1 in 3 women have been abused in their lifetime. In times of crises, the numbers rise, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic and recent humanitarian crises, conflicts and climate disasters.
A new report from UN Women, based on data from 13 countries since the pandemic, shows that 2 in 3 women reported that they or a woman they know experienced some form of violence and are more likely to face food insecurity.
Only 1 in 10 women said that victims would go to the police for help.

At world Men's day, Pakisthan government announced the crucious punishment to the victims who harrass a child or women by eliminating their male sex chemical methods. Likewise, India needs to ammend such a terrific law.
Thank you

I have been doing research on Women Crimes from past few

come up with some suggestions/concrete solutions WHICH
IF IMPLEMENTED PROPERLY, CAN REDUCE SEXUAL
ASSAULTS AND RAPES TO A NEGLIGIBLE EXTENT.
I am writing this report in order to intensify the efforts to
reduce the crimes against women.
