The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

Women play absolutely important role in shaping the society and the nation. So they must be given equal status and place in the society. Their security and safety should be the utmost responsibility of the society. If the women of any nation is safe and secure, only then that nation could make progress in true sense.

Most important thing for "Women Empowerment" is EDUCATION. Educating women in and about their basic rights, opportunities and their role in the progress of a country as whole. Women should be encouraged to widen their horizons by promoting their creative ideas, skills, home based industries in rural areas, conducting workshops on capacity and personality building to boost their self - awareness and self - worth will help in upliftment and overall well being of under -previlidged women.

A lot of violence can be controlled by tracing one's footprints on the heel and toe and tracking where one is going, just as a person's mind traits thoughts and actions based on one's fingerprint and eye penetration. I've already posted about it many times.

as in the school level we teach the students about gender equality. they are just a opposite sex.... boys doesnt have any superior power than women... so respect their feeling... they also have unique dignity.. more or less every one treat everyone as the human...with humanism

Balance is very important in our life. so according to Hinduism there are 4 stages of life:1.brahmachara 2.grihastha 3.vanprastha 4.sannyasa. students should follow the lifestyle of brahmcharya. so students must be disciplined & strictly control their emotions and channelize the energy for doing productive work. love & emotions are important & need to manage. making love is beautiful things but not in brahmachara life and lust is bad. it good when it comes naturally not artificially.cont. comets
