To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until 15th July 2023.

एक प्रमाणिक और विश्वसनीय मापदंड तैयार करें: उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों के मूल्यांकन के लिए एक स्पष्ट, संघटित और प्रमाणिक मापदंड तैयार करना महत्वपूर्ण है। इसमें शिक्षा गुणवत्ता, अनुसंधान योग्यता, विद्यार्थी कार्यक्रम, शिक्षण प्रक्रिया, औद्योगिक सहयोग और संस्थानिक प्रबंधन जैसे मापदंड शामिल होने चाहिए। विद्यार्थियों और अभिभावकों की भागीदारी को बढ़ावा दें: विद्यार्थीयों और उनके अभिभावकों को मूल्यांकन प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय भागीदारी देने का मौका देना चाहिए।

Assesment check list shall cover transformation of higher education institutes from class room to virtual class rooms for all colleges , universities and schools includes goverment, semi goverment, state government and private. Virtual class rooms equal accessibility to remote villages and towns and urban, semi urban areas.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्रि मे आंतकवाद के उद्भव मे पूरे विश्व मे कुुछ जाति मे शादि के रिवाज को कारणमूत मानता हू। कुछ जाति मे भा ई बहन की शादी करते है उससे जो संतान उत्पन्न होते हे उनकी मानसिकता कुछ अलग होती है। खेति करनेवाले खेडुत को ये पता हे ऐक बीज को ऐकही खेत मे ज्यादा से ज्यादा दोबार बोया जाता है। अगर ऐक ही बीज को ऐक ही खेत में ज्यादाबार बोया जाये तो फसल की गुणवत्ता और उत्पादन कम हो जाति है मे सामान्य नागरिक हु मुजे मेरे विचार व्यक्त करने की इतनी समज नही है । मेरे से कुछ गलती हो गई हो तो माफ करना

Standardize assessment criteria: Develop a set of standardized assessment criteria that are applicable to all higher educational institutions, regardless of their size, location, or specialization. This will ensure consistency and fairness in the assessment process and make it easier to compare institutions. 3. Strengthen peer review mechanisms: Establish a strong peer review mechanism that involves experts from within the country and internationally. This will help ensure that assessments are conducted by knowledgeable and impartial individuals who can provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Try to assign a problem / by choosing the real problem what they have observed in their lives/ areas, tell to work on it as group/individually estimate the level of understanding, thinking about the solution, executing that solution into reality etc all can be considered as skills, which can be graded according to their performance.

Ranking of engineering institution must not only based on the percentage of placement and company comes for placement but also include how many entrepreneurs emerged from that institution and become successful
