To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

Given the word limit criteria have added my comments in the PDF enclosed. The thought process is to ensure that the institutes work towards creating a better society at large and not just teaching content that is largely available on the internet these days. Thus making them accountable and key contributors for a broader cause.

education has an age group, why do we have it , so that overage don't get the advantage. Shouldn't this rule be applied . why do u club the reserved 0/100 toppers with unreserved 80/100. what logic. why are you killing them and making them inferior, rebellious with hate. why compare. in the process everyone is being defeated. Example african nations - they too have doctors , engineers, from the most tribal place. they learnt at their pace with no pressures. & get to work there. can't india also adopt the same. Here even the best quit out of shame or sheer inability to cope that they are no longer best in the competitive global environment. why there are rankings of colleges, universities. isn't it obvious that they take on the best and they have the conducive environment for the best. why lower standards everywhere. Defeat merit. Once it becomes outdated, you don't get talents both students & teachers. how to keep abreast of knowledge . Y not CEP mandatory 4 babus teachers & all

Assessment should also include psychological assessment , inclination . the aptitude test and no where should the child be allowed to escape, physical , mental labour. Every child must get to know his talent. All must be trained and assessed well to go beyond the comfort of physical mind and body. Very important to teach DIY methods assembly, vdo shooting, lessons, public speaking, writing , posture, signboards, scaffloding elevators, escalators, etc etc. as it is everyone giving up their traditonal knowledges and vocations. AI would be replacing many, physical work still beyond robots or atleast they will need people to test the robots . mochi, darji, nai, khati, plumber ,mason, rasoiya, packer, stitcher, electrician puncture, vehicle, laboratory ,nurse, delivery milkman , security , photography , flower gardening, The basic tool sets should be available in cluster of villages with newest CNC machines & all. The child should know of it & be aware. Life long skills,

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the problem of our education system. It is bitter truth that our institutes always force students to do excel in rote learning (not in academics) because we believe in theoretical learning but it is proven that practical learning is more effectively for learning. We forget that books and theory is a just bunch of knowledge which is written by a author who's intellectual and thinking level is different from readers. That's why for making education useful for students then made it practical.

Reinventing the wheel. Diya tale Andhera. U have 10 crore babus -working & retired , all on pensions ask, has education helped them ever & if at all what helped them. If that is fixed, u can find mechanism to test these . 1) Force of habit- discipline, showing up and take on the responsibility . Mundane tasks cleaning, cooking, chopping should be on auto mode . No excuse for absence tolerated. 2) Get out of we the maliks mode. make your hands dirty lead by examples 3) Learn to use gadgets, be acquainted with the existing technologies. U don't have to own them. Here CSR , govt can help , every village library with toys, gadgets, on use free , minimum cost. see the advantage of a child using playstations, computer games, animations, sports. latest shoes. No child ever should feel inferior, have confidence. it comes easy with acclimatization 4) recall of the studies & how to use them in real life.Case studies with hints, examples, 5) encourage new usage. unconventional methods

Good morning Respected PM sir I am a currently a student which is in 9th grade and i would like to talk about the NEP 2020 everything in NEP looks great even I read the pamplet personally and it was great for students but there is a problem which still remains that is what about rankings is the old ranking system going to abolished, if yes then which new ranking system will be coming with NEP 2020 if possible i would like to leave a suggestion that to add new types of ranks that is if someone scores much better marks he or she will in the upper category or the elite category and if someone scores excellent marks he or she should be in the champions category, i know it may sound like a idiotic idea but please demolish the old ranking system and create a new ranking system With regards Your one of the greatest following and well wisher Dhairya

Dear sir.. In today's education even students and parents are more concerned about scoring and getting Good jobs, agreed as it's very important to build their future. But at the same time some awareness about culture, Moralness, serving honestly to the nation, & helping in time's for needed should also be feeded which should penetrate their hearts. I agree as parents most parents bring up their wards by educating all this things..but more strongly it should be thought in edu system

Dear PM sir, it is good to go for “Beti Bachao”. But it is better to inject Sanskars into the girls through GuruKul form of schools and colleges where Human Values and Bharat’s traditional Sanskaras reign supreme. There has to be a institution to educate the parents on the importance of inducing Sanskaras to their children with some sort of unavoidable benefits for motivational sessions, which has to be manifested as Jana Jagaran…
