As part of the Government of India’s vision for Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to actively participate in the initiative themed “Role of Tribal Communities in Viksit Bharat”. This initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of India’s tribal communities in shaping a sustainable, inclusive, and progressive nation.

Participants are encouraged to share their ideas, suggestions, and perspectives on how tribal knowledge systems, cultural heritage, sustainable practices, and community-led models can serve as guiding forces in India’s socio-economic, cultural, and environmental development.

Discussion is open to all Indian citizens. Selected ideas may be featured in national publications, exhibitions, and included in policy-level discussions.

Let’s stop discrimination by calling them Tribals because they are well trained citizens having native wisdom, skills and arts. They are living healthy and wealthy self supported life, and we need to learn from them and Purchase power Parity in India is the strength of these people and villages. We need to reach out them to 1) offer business opportunities for their products 2) Vocational Training opportunities incorporating entrepreneurship skills 3) Developing markets using modern tools and interface with young generation.4) Stop exploiting their ancestral properties and environment they have preserved for generations. Let them get due returns themselves and not through external big B’s. 5) Let them develop pride over their strengths. 6) Eliminate few drawbacks in old lifestyle using modern ways.
