The outbreak of the global pandemic COVID -19 presents a challenging time for everyone around the world. Not only is this pandemic a serious medical concern, but it also brings mixed emotions and psycho-social stressors for all. There are emerging mental health concerns with specific focus on Children, Adolescents and Youth as they more vulnerable to heightened level of stress, anxiety and fearfulness, along with a range of other emotional and behavioral issues. COVID-19 has also brought new stressors on Teachers and Parents hampering their capacity to provide positive support to their wards. While it is important to focus on continuing education on the academic front, we must give equal importance to the mental health and well-being of the students.

Manodarpan, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under the AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, aims at mobilizing psycho-social support to help Children, Youth, Teachers and Parents country-wide in a comprehensive and multimodal manner during conditions like COVID-19 and after. For more information, please visit www.mhrd.gov.in/covid-19/

MyGov in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, hereby invites citizens to share ideas and inputs to combat the psycho-social stress on School & College Students, Teachers and Parents, caused due to COVID-19 pandemic. Selected comments may be featured on social media.

currently, students and exam aspirants are going under maximum stress. this is the time ministries and their under staff work fast and hard to come up with a policy and definite answers to exams during the covid situation. every student is seeking some clarity and direction from the govt on exam related plans and safety. one major thing that separates current govt from previous govts is decisiveness and clarity. this is the time for major decisiveness and clarity

i have a simple philosophy that " i have always wanted to do something worthwhile in life . i strongly belive that the word impossible is applied to something that hasn't been tried . this pendamic situation is not bar to make a shelf reliant india . one can overcome all obstracles by determination ,courage and shelf reliant . lastly ,there is one more thing i would like to say : respect police man, doctors and news reporters who are like god in this pendamic situation , stay at home stay safe

This pandemic situation has both positive and negative scenario for students ..... if the students focused on their goal and do hard work as well as smart work they can make their time better and even best..but in the other hand if the student waste their time with no use they will face difficulties to cover there syllabus after the reopening of school and colleges.. so make your time useful learn as many things as you can because learning can never be wasteful.

In this pandemic there is no place of the mental illness for a student because every student have lot of time for their studies. This scenario is a opportunity for every student to prepare themselves well. And taking this time as a biggest opportunity in their life. A student keep his body fit by doing exercises and yog which is very important for a student or a child. This is the time to become a mentally strong person because of enough time. Don't take this time as stress or burden. It's a key
