In the name of quality education, private schools are minting money. The exorbitant rise in school fees and varieties of frill charges added to the school fees annually have overburdened parents, who are unable to bear the cost of education. The situation has made a mockery of school education. The new education policy must if anything else address the issue of high fees charged by private schools and ensure that monthly fees do not exceed Rs.500.

SHAILJA ,SRI MUKTSAR SAHIB Education is essential for providing equal opportunity to all. Only government has accountability to people. Not private sectors. The government should invest in education directly and should also create employment though construction and maintenance activities

Since Private sector comes up only with consistent support of the State subsidies, important state policies must be implemented in the private sector as well. I have in mind affirmative action policies for the disadvantaged.
