To what extent do our institutions leverage the potential of ICT for improving access and quality of general and technical education and also faculty development.

Science is same in every part of the work but technology is developed from science according to the needs of the regions. We blindly import technology from the west which is not needed here for example refrigerators. Every student must be educated with the needs of the society in which he is growing. At every level there must be platforms/competitions to create technological products based on the science they learned to inculcate creation.

The Indian educational sector lacks practical knowledge. Many private schools in my state have been implementing methods such as by hearting the subject. The focus will be on memorizing and reproducing the question, but lack the conceptual knowledge. The effective solution to this is the complete nationalization of the educational sector and merging CBSE and ICSE syllabuss into one complete effective syllabus, which mainly focuses on e-learning.

Swami Vivekananda said "Education is not filling mind with lots of facts" but "equip themselves for the struggle for life, bring out the strength of character, a spirit of philanthropy and a courage of a lion". The education now imparted is only fact filling an churning out money earning machines. A compulsory subject "Man-Making" to be introduced from primary school to Universities to build a Strong character there by building a Strong Family, a society and Strong powerful roaring Bharat

Education means, said Swami Vivekananda " Manifestation of perfection already in a human being." A policy which prescribes a system for the growth of an individual to its fullest abilities is an education policy. We should develop an Universal, Vibrant and Sustainable policy keeping in the mind concepts of " Sabka Saath Aur Sabka Vikas ." and " Harvard v/s Hard work".Human creativity and sensitivity should not be get hampered by the use of Science & Technology. Prosperity through Values.

If we ask any of student, why u go school or college, most of the answers wil be "carrier" doctor, engineer, MBA etc, than what is the need of primary education? There is a system inthis country that once a child born, first he will go to play school, primary school, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on. Every parents wants a good percentage of marks. The benchmark is the marks not the knowledge. While aim of education is to provide a detailed knowledge of the subject. Marks can be get by so many means.

"Make in India" program needs good technical and managerial manpower.Today Engineering colleges do not provide education to suit industry.Technical education format should be like medical education with a lot of practical 'hands on' training as required by industry. The curriculum should be designed by team members from Industry. There should be many electives in colleges rather than blanket courses. This enables students to learn more relevant topics in main stream.Soft skills to be taught.
